Dinner Diary: Chez Morgan
I swear I was present, grateful and in the Moment...
Honored Guests!
Lazy Mode is kind of activated at HQ this week, not because I’m actually lazy, mind you, but because I’m part of yet another restaurant opening and we’re at the unique moment in time at which said opening is very, very close and I’m still jamming in event gigs and shifts at the other two restaurants where I still currently work. It’s called edging, look it up!
My little kinks aside, I still manage to have more relatable fun once in a while, which brings me to another new series I just came up with: Dinner Diary. I’m not going to pretend it’s a groundbreaking concept, but I’ve heard from many more than one person that they’d like to see what I’m cooking, eating and/or drinking once in a while. Like less a review or recommendation and more a simple exercise in documentation and, again, a dose of Lazy Mode.
I’m lucky enough to have friends who love me and who are also very good cooks, and one of them made the following belated birthday dinner with a beautiful selection of wines that are also quite personal to me. Thank you Mo : )
Enjoy:

Princess Mode activated.

And with that, it’s closing time! You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here — good night my angels!
